Seek advice for treating diarrhoea If you’re unable to contact your doctor or specialist stoma nurse, you should go to your pharmacy and ask for a diarrhoea medicine.
And you should also ask for rehydration sachets. These are special powders which you make up into a drink to replace lost fluids and electrolytes (salts).
Foods which may help with diarrhoea:
- noodles/pasta
- white rice
- jelly babies or marshmallows
- smooth peanut butter
- under-ripe bananas
