Brava® Protective Ring
The Brava® Protective Ring was found to significantly reduce leakage compared to other rings on the market using a well-defined, validated test method*1.

Find out how we tested the Brava® Protective Ring
Step 1
All rings were tested using a validated laboratory skin model. To ensure uniformity, all products were cut and pressed to the same size with a thickness of 2.0 mm. The quality of the skin was verified by measurement of transepidermal water loss.
Step 2
A total of 10 replicates from 2 different lots of each product were applied to the skin surface. Real ileostomy output was introduced. The samples were incubated at 32°C and shaken at 80 rpm.
Step 3
After 24 hours, the samples were peeled off the skin surface and the leakage area under the ring was measured. Brava® Protective Ring was found to significantly reduce leakage compared to all other rings tested*1.
