SAIL – (Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living) Paraplegia Program

 

Eligibility:

If you have a paralysis of all or most of the lower limbs and trunk.

MS in advanced stages (relapsing – remitting MS, or primary progressive MS or secondary progressive MS.

Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida ( <18 yrs). Clients may not be on SAIL Paraplegia Program and the MS Drug program simultaneously  

 

Eligible clients receive the following at no charge; Incontinence and medical supplies ( including catheters and incontinence supplies ). Dealer / supplier bills SAIL directly

 

1. Ask for samples of SpeediCath. Simply click on the “ Free SpeediCath Samples “ on this page.

2. Talk to your doctor - ask for a prescription for SpeediCath. SpeediCath is used once so the prescription will be for 4-5 catheters per day.

3. Ask your doctor to complete and sign the SpeediCath letter. Simply click on the letter on this page, download the letter and send it to your doctor. This letter outlines the issue(s) you are having and why you need to use SpeediCath

4. Submit SpeediCath Prescription and letter to SAIL for approval.
