Which type of pouching system do you prefer?

The type of pouching system is mainly a matter of preference.

1-piece pouching system

The pouch and the adhesive base plate come as one unit. This system is very flexible and lies flat against the body, making it more discreet under your clothing. When the pouch is changed the adhesive base is changed as well.

2-piece pouching system with mechanical coupling

The pouch is clicked onto the adhesive base plate with a click coupling. The adhesive base plate is rather rigid and easy to apply because you can see the stoma as you center the adhesive. With this system you can easily change your pouch without changing the adhesive base plate.

2-piece pouching system with adhesive coupling

The pouch is attached to the adhesive coupling sticking the two units together. The adhesive base plate is flexible and lays flatter against the body compared to a click coupling. It is easy to apply because you can see the stoma as you center the adhesive. You can easily change your pouch without changing the adhesive base plate.
