    Do you sometimes see output on the skin in the same area that is irritated or red?

    Leakage can be a result of poor adhesion or erosion of the barrier, and can typically be a result of cutting the barrier opening the wrong size. Skin exposed to stool or urine will eventually become irritated. Therefore, the supporting products recommended are designed to protect against leakage.

    Brava® Protective Ring creates a seal between stoma and baseplate and is designed to protect against leakage and protect the skin. The ring is also easy to shape, apply and remove. Now there are new wide sizes available for more specific challenges such as deeper creases and folds.

    The Brava® Protective Ring is designed to protect against leakage and protect the skin. It is based on a polymer formulation that provides dual protection. It is easy to shape so it fits snugly around the stoma and can be applied over skin with dips, creases and folds.
    The Brava® Protective Ring can be easily removed, leaving minimal residue behind.

    A greater surface area, for a better fit over skin with more challenges such as deeper creases and folds.
