Does the opening in the barrier fit the exact shape and size of your stoma?
Do you have creases and folds? – This may cause the barrier to stick poorly to the skin.

Do you have problems with pancaking? (Pancaking happens when there is no air in your pouch, causing stool to get stuck around the stoma instead of sliding to the bottom of the pouch.)
Do you have problems with ballooning? (Ballooning occurs when air/gas from the stoma causes the pouch to inflate, which can sometimes cause it to detach from the skin.)
