The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) administered through the Ministry of Health helps people with long-term physical disabilities pay for some medical supplies and customized equipment.
The Enteral Feeding and Ostomy Supplies Grant will provide approved ADP eligible recipients with an annual grant paid directly to them in two installments:
$975 per year, per ostomy (maximum 2) required for at least 6 months
$1300 per year per ostomy (maximum 2) required for at least 6 months for those receiving social assistance benefits through Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program & Assistance to Children with Severe Disabilities; or for those living in Long-Term Care HomesFor more details please see:

The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Mandatory Special Necessities (MSN) benefit can help eligible recipients with the cost of diabetic supplies, such as syringes, alcohol swabs and blood glucose monitors; and surgical supplies, surgical dressings and incontinence supplies.
Contact your local ODSP office Office Locator (gov.on.ca) to request the Mandatory Special Necessities form and have it filled out by your family doctor/physician; an extended class registered nurse or a registered nurse or an enterostomal therapist.
Persons requesting assistance for ostomy supplies must provide verification that they have applied for the yearly grant of $1300 from ADP, payable in two instalments. The Easter Seals Society Ontario provides an incontinence supply program for families of children with severe disabilities where the disability results in chronic incontinence.
Under the Easter Seals program, children (aged 3-5) are eligible for $400 and children (aged 6-17) are eligible for $900 in incontinence supplies, in two semi-annual instalments.

Dependent children are eligible through the MSN Surgical Supplies and Dressings category for the amount above that which is provided by the Easter Seals program.
Some municipalities offer their own health support programs or supporting services. Check with your local municipality to see if there are any additional support available to you.
